Is H1N1 Genetically Engineered?

As conspiracy theories go, the one surrounding the HINI (swine flu) does seem highly probable. The H1N1 contains viral code fragments from the Asian Swine Flu, Swine flu from Europe, Bird flu from North America, and human influenza. All of these are found in the current strain of Swine flu. Statistically, the chances of this strain of flu occurring naturally on its own are very remote.

As Mike Adams of Natural News writes: “This is rather astonishing to realize, because for this to have been a natural combination of viral fragments, it means an infected bird from North America would have had to infect pigs in Europe, then be re-infected by those some pigs with an unlikely cross-species mutation that allowed the bird to carry it again, then that bird would have had to fly to Asia and infected pigs there, and those Asian pigs then mutated the virus once again (while preserving the European swine and bird flu elements) to become human transmittable, and then a human would have had to catch that virus from the Asian pigs — in Mexico! — and spread it to others….”

Another thing that is different about this flu is that influenza generally affects the sick and elderly, to a greater extent than it does healthy young adults and children.  This is not the case with this flu.

If a genetically engineered virus were to be released into society, Mexico City would be the ideal location to do so, considering that it is the largest and most densely populated city, and has sub-par sanitary standards.  This would allow for the greatest number of people being infected with the virus before anyone could detect, analyze, and vaccinate.  By the time anyone caught on and clearly labeled this type of influenza, it would already be showing up in all parts of the world as people traveled about: such as the group of kids who went to Cancun for Spring Break.

Why do I even mention this?  Baxter International will be taking a leading role in creating a vaccine for this latest outbreak of swine flu.

I’m not one to spread conspiracy theories… I’m just sayin’…..
