A divorced couple had a teenage daughter, for whom the ex-husband paid huge child support payments to the tune of several thousand dollars a month to the mother over a period of many many years.

On the daughters 18th birthday, the man wrote his last child support check. Instead of mailing it, he handed it to the 18 year-old, and ask that she hand-deliver it to her mother. He asked her to send the message "I've been writing this check for 15 years, how will it feel to not get this check anymore." So he asked the teenager to get a real good look at her face when she heard that.

The teenager delivers the check, and gives her mother the message, and gets a real good look at her mothers face. Her mother, likewise, gives her a message to send back to her ex-husband.

Their teenage daughter returns. The man asks her "tell me, I must know, what look did she have on her face?" The teenager said "mom smiled and laughed". "Smiled ???? Laughed??? WHY???? " said the man. The teenager replies, "she said your not my father.

Too funny Bobin, tanx for the great chuckle - I needed that. *S*

I moved to a new place on the weekend and finished up on Tuesday. Now I am getting to know my new roomie (she owns the duplex) and oohhhh wow- I think I have made a mistake. *sighs* She's kinda controlling, is making up new rules, and other things. The new tenant downstairs is also wondering now aboot her. I may have to move again but will see how it goes. Pls send me some posiitive energy please. I sure could use a lil right now.
