Well gang it is time for that Florida vacation. We are leaving tomorrow, Saturday and coming back next Friday, the 18th. We will be wandering around the Florida Keys during that time. On one of those days I will be "Trainer for a day" and get to swim with the dolphins, something I have always wanted to do. So for now I am as busy as a one armed paper hanger trying to get stuff done around here, so I will not be back in here very much, if at all. Please keep us in your thoughts for a safe trip and nice weather.
Until we cyber talk again

Hi Tracer,
I wish I saw this in time to wish you a Happy Birthday while you're down there! Well...unless you're checking in....HAPPY BIRTHDAY, A LITTLE AFTER THE FACT
Thinking of you swimming with those dolphins sounds like an incredible way to celebrate (whether you do it on the 16th or not).
May this year be the very, very best in EVERY way!!!!
Much love,
Sylvia |

LOL!!! You never forget do ya? Thank you Sylvia It was a great trip and a great birthday. We had a wonderful time with the dolphins and the sea lions. Those sea lions are so adorable. We went snorkling on a coral reef and then we got to swim with some wild dolphin. It is illegal to approach the wild Dolphin so you have to let them come to you. So the boat Capt. spotted a group of a about 20, including one mom and baby, and then we got into the water some distance away from them. Just as soon as we hit the water here they came at lightning speed and started mingling with us. At one time I had two swimming on my left side and one on my right side. We had on snorkle gear and were just swimming around trying to get a glimpse of them under water. We didn't touch them and they didn't touch us. Once they left the area we got back on the boat and just watched them play, and what a show they did for us. Another boat came in to the area and the dolphin came closer to our boat. That was sooooo funny. It was kind of like they knew they were safe and respected with us. That was the highlight of our trip. It ranks pretty close to finding that first arrowhead experience. We are exhausted from the trip. Tammie has slept all day. I have been unpacking and trying to get things caught up here around the house and to give the four legged children some love. I have got to tell them about the Hemmingway cats with the extra toes. Some had seven toes, they looked like thumbs on the cats paw, strange looking. The Keys have cats EVERYWHERE. They are in the shops, restaurants, Dolphin park , just everywhere. This made us feel right at home |

Wow, swimming with the dolphins has to be a very special experience. I haven't had the pleasure yet.
So glad your birthday was great...sounds like a lot of special experiences to remember it by .
I haven't been to the Keys so I wasn't aware that there were so many cats (like Rome probably). Your cats probably figure you went to kitty paradise and didn't take them . Well, you can tell them allll about it.
Nice to have you back.
Hugs,
Sylvia |

Thanks Sylvia. Yes they were wonderful experiences that I will always remember. One day I would like to go back and just stay in Key West. There were a lot of other things we wanted to see and do but just didn't have the time to get to them. You would love all the sub-tropical plants that are in bloom there, so many colors, everywhere!!!!! If I had had my cats there with me I might have just stayed there....lol!!!! |

Thanks Terri. Yes it was a wonderful way to turn over another year...lol. I am already feeling homesick for "the Keys"....lol!!!!! Now that's bad. The time there went by so fast. The weather was beautiful every day, had a slight shower on Thursday for about ten minutes but then the sun came out and it was gorgeous again. Thanks for the protective energy surrounding us during the trip. I could tell it was there and strong. Thanks again. |

There were actually times during this trip (mostly on the way there and back) when you were... I want to say "reaching out" to the energy we were sending... as if you were KNOWING that all the positive energy in the universe was surrounding you. |
