Tammie has been going through some hard times at work. A new supervisor that came from another dept., and has a reputation of singling out someone and writing them up for trivial stuff true/untrue until they quit or she gets them fired, and she has set her sites on Tammie. What makes it worse is the supervisor above this supervisor is best buddies with the supervisor. So when Tammie appeals the write ups or shows where the write ups are completely wrong her supervisors supervisor still upholds the write up. Her first appeal went to the head man of the company and he has yet to respond back to her. So if this second write up stands , she could be fired. Like the first one it is full of incorrect information and Tammie has the documantation to support it.
Anyway......many of you know what stress this causes. So if you could please add her to your Reiki list. I know now we all have Reiki lists longer than Santas shoping lists but if you could ....please send some energy her way. Thanks so much. |

Ugh. I know from personal experience how she feels... and it REALLY sucks canal water. (Remember the "Get Terri to quit - or find SOME way to fire her... even if you have to make something up" - days???) Management always backs each other up.
I'll send Reiki to the situation so that those who are in power will do what's RIGHT and fair.

Thanks Terri. She is very run down by the situation. Neither one us really wanted to come home from the vacation a face reality again but...here we are. I hope the energy can help the management but....I just don't know. This company already has a couple of law suits against them for wrongful termination. At least if the fire her she can get workmans comp. , jobs in her field are hard to come by right now. There are colleges all over the place in this area and when one graduates ALL the jobs are taken at once. I hate to see her so exhausted before she even goes in to work because she doesn't know what this lady will deem a reportable offense. Tammie was written up for not saying "good morning" one time. Is that a crock of poop or what. She was in her office working and this lady comes in and expects Tammie to hear her come in and say good morning to her. Everything she has written Tammie up for is about that stupid, or is either something she dropped the ball on and is blaming it on Tammie. *sigh* This is hard on us both.
Thanks for the support (((((((((((Terri)))))))))))) |

and I'm sure part of Tammie just wants to give it up and quit... it's not worth the mental aggrivation. Then there's the part that wants to keep on fighting because she knows it's all a crock of spit.
sigh.... I'm having flashbacks.
by the way, how close are you to Winston-Salem? (I didn't even know until yesterday that there was a winston-salem in NC -- but how can there NOT be? LOL!). |

Dear TRacer,
I'm sorry to hear about this work situation which sounds totally imbalanced and unjust. Unfortunately it sounds like a lose/lose situation. Even if she isn't fired (which of course would be great given the current economy), she then has to continue to work in that environment.
This is probably stating the obvious, but I hope she's keeping all documentation of what is written about her, what conversations she has with whom, about what. Time and date stuff. And perhaps seek out a lawyer, now.
At the same time, is there anything preventing her from looking for other work while this is going on? It certainly sounds like a very unpleasant circumstance to live in day in day out.
I send Reiki to you both for a wonderful healing resolution to this situation.

Thanks Sylvia, we have been working on her appeal today and we both have splitting headaches. The funny thing is Tammie woke this morning feeling the best she has in weeks. She said she felt like someone had gone inside her head and removed a huge amount of something that made her feel better. So she has had a better day, clearer thinking day today and we needed that to get all this documentation and facts in order. You know if Tammie had been written up for something serious I could see all this work but these things are so trivial "a person getting loud in group therapy"
so Tammie was written up for not controlling the situation. Now this an Adult Partial Hospital setting, this is a going to the hospital alt. for them and a mixture of diagnosis in the same group. Geesh!!! I am surprise that at least one person is not yelling everyday. But why should Tammie be written up for how this person expressed their feelings about a topic? My head is about to split.
Thanks again Sylvia (((((((Sylvia))))))) |

How wonderfully fascinating that Tammie felt such relief upon waking this (?) morning Makes you wonder, huh? Perhaps it's Terri & Bobin up to their old tricks again. Or perhaps Tammie was simply ready to release the attachment to having this work out a certain way...or better yet, be 'shown' that this is the path to things working out in the best possible way. Who knows. I'm just delighted for you both that she's had that experience.
Let's us know how she does going forward with this woman.
Hugs to you both,
Sylvia |
