A friend told me that a personal trainer told her to drink lemon water instead of plain water. She hates the taste of plain water and this was keeping her from drinking what she needed. The trainer also told her that the lemon helps cleanse the liver. Do you know if there is any truth to this? |

Lemon helps increase bile production which basically revs up your liver. A tall glass of tepid water with the juice of half a lemon first thing in the morning gets all your own juices working and helps you eliminate more efficiently. |

ackkkkkk...tepid water? Come on now.....work with me here... at least let it be ice water......it will be steam distilled
Sounds like this lemon water is a good thing and like most good things that become popular I have be seeing more and more lemon flavored waters on the shelves at Walley World, or grocery stores.
Thanks for the input |

I don't know if "lemon flavoured" would do much good. The idea is to get a fair amount of actual lemon juice in your system. 1/2 a fresh lemon is the general amount recommended. |
