Hi,
I "experienced" Reiki for the first time last fall. I've not explored it since. I would like to take classes, but can't afford them right now.
I'm wondering if it would be out of line to request some reiki for myself? I'm in an area of great change in my life and need strength, courage, bravery.
How do I return the energy without being a reiki practitioner? I want to give as much as I wnat to recieve.
Thank you,
Trudi |

I don't know how this post managed to go unanswered... I'm so sorry, Trudi! so many times I'll see a request for Reiki, will add the person to my healing list, then forget to reply on the forum.
Yes, of course it's okay to ask for Reiki! And don't worry about sending energy back in the form of "Reiki." A kind thought, or words of support/encouragement to someone you know who may need it, is "payment" enough.

Thank you.
I have to tell you about giving back a little. This young woman spoke out, bravely, against something she felt strongly about, in a public place, with no friends to support her near by. I witnessed this and as she turned away, looking a little shellshocked by her own courage, I leaned over and tapped her on the shoulder and told her "way to go! you're great!" And now I've written a letter to the editor of the local paper in hopes that they will print it - I want her to know how much her bravery inspired me.
Hopefully, it will encourage her. I wonder if she knows how much she affected me? |

Trudi.... you didn't give back a little, you gave back a LOT!!
I don't think we always realize just how profound an effect someone may have on our lives, be it positive or negative. One thing for sure, the world would be a better place if everyone strived to make a positive difference in someone's life. |
