I have been looking into the low carb diet thingie for a while.
I have read most of the book,"Protien Power" aand think that it makes
sense. I also have been reading the alt.support.low-carb newsgroup on
usenet. There are lot of knowledgeable folks there.
Damn I love carbs......

More and more fastfood places are getting on board with the low carb food menus. Maybe this is going to stay around longer than we thought. I see Subway is now making a low carb sandwich. I love Subway sandwiches anyway....yummmmmm. I have been cutting carbs but not cutting them out completely. |

EVERYONE'S either adding "low-carb" products to their line, or adding "low-carb" to their labels now. Even Coke and Pepsi came up with a low-carb version ... but I think all they really did was replace half the high syrup fructose with Splenda. And Krispy Kreme (or however you spell it) just announced that they're going to come up with a low-carb version.... as they're response to falling profits last quarter. So now we have lots of low-carb junk food. |
