I can't tell you how psyched I am!!! Finally

I'm still acclimating to Optimum Online and have to figure out some stuff. But for now it's just exciting to do a couple of things, like pull up this forum (first things really ) after having accessed a nice online radio station

Terri-- do you know if you minimize your browser, or close it entirely, if that will reduce any risk of someone hacking the computer when you're not actually doing something online? Or would that just be an illusion?

You can minimize your browser all you want and that won't do a darn thing for security. the best thing to do is to close the browser and/or clear your cache. You can also password protect your computer. You can do all sorts of things, but, in the end, if a hacker wants to get into your computer s/he will find a way.
