In addition to healing, the Reiki symbols can be used to help manifest your desires and to empower your goals. As an example, the Cho-Ku-Rei can be used to help resolve certain issues in your life. One way to do this is by use of a "Manifestation Triangle." As always, be totally positive and ethical in what you ask for, and ask for only what you really need. If it's a job you need, be sure not to ask for someone else's job; ask instead for the "best possible employment" for you.

The first step is to draw a triangle. At the bottom left hand corner, write your name, or the name of the person you're doing the manifestation triangle for. Next, at the top of the triangle, write your ideal solution(s) to the situation; the outcome you would like to manifest. Be very specific. Use the disclaimer "This, or something better, will manifest for the good of all." At the bottom right hand corner, write the situation.

After setting up your triangle, and writing out the name, solution and situation, draw a small power key symbol (Cho-Ku-Rei) over each corner. You may also draw a large one over the whole triangle. Optional: Traditional Reiki (Cho-Ku-Rei is drawn counterclockwise) is drawn over entire triangle after it's filled in.

Another use for the Reiki symbols is to help manifest the ideal relationship and is demonstrated in " Essential Reiki," by Diane Stein. She offers two different ways to manifest that "perfect relationship." One of which is to make a list of all the qualities you wish for in the best possible mate and use the list for a visualization focus. Make the list in the meditative state, as in distance healing. Then take the list between your hands and do Reiki on it, adding the Cho-Ku-Rei. If you are drawn to do so, also place the Sei-He-Ki and Hon-Sha-Ze-Sho-Nen into the list. At the end of the meditation, place the list under a lit candle (I recommend using a white or pink candle) or on an altar if you use one. Keep the same list for further meditation. The other is to visualize yourself in a joyful, fulfilling relationship but not giving the person a name or face. Hold the image of the relationship in your mind as you send the Cho-Ku-Rei, or a pair of them side by side. Picture exactly what you wish for, not what you think you can have.

You can also draw the Cho-Ku-Rei over food to increase nutrition while at the same time offering thanks for the meal.

The Cho-Ku-Rei and Sei-He-Ki together can be used to boost the healing properties of your prescription medication while reducing possible side effects.

They can also be used to aid in healing addictions as well as problems with weight loss. The mental/emotion symbol is a wonderful enhancement with the use of affirmations, causing them to enter more deeply into the subconscious mind. To aid in weight loss, as an example, write your name on a piece of paper, the word "food," and the Sei-He-Ki. Do a Reiki "healing" on this piece of paper each day, before each meal. You will find it much easier to eat less, and to only eat healthy foods. A phrase you may want to try with this is "healthy weight loss."
